Manual QA Engineer

Job description

We are looking for a Manual Tester / QA Engineer for a project executed in Agile methodology. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing both frontend and backend applications and supporting the development team in ensuring high-quality delivered solutions. Organizational Information Number of contractors: 1 Work model: hybrid (1 day a week in the office) Planned start date: 01.07.2026 Duration of cooperation: over 12 months

Responsibilities

• Conducting manual tests for frontend and backend
• Preparing test scenarios based on the analysis of business and system requirements
• Executing integration, system, and exploratory tests
• Testing REST API using Postman / Swagger
• Analyzing logs and identifying errors
• Collaborating with the development and analytical teams within Scrum sprints
• Reporting test results and logging defects in JIRA

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manual testing
• Experience in testing frontend and backend
• Ability to create test scenarios
• Familiarity with REST API and tools like Postman / Swagger
• Basic knowledge of Java
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases
• Familiarity with log analysis tools, e.g., Kibana
• Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
• Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence tools
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Diligent and well-organized
• Ability to work effectively under time pressure
• Enjoys teamwork and communication in an Agile environment.

Nice to have

• ISTQB Foundation Level or Agile Tester certification
• Experience in the banking or financial industry
