Guidewire Developer

Job description

We are looking for a person to join the team as a Guidewire Developer and contribute to the development and maintenance of the ClaimCenter and ContactManager systems in a complex IT environment.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of Guidewire ClaimCenter and ContactManager systems
• Collaboration with analysts and system users to define technical requirements
• Providing programming support during the implementation of new solutions
• Troubleshooting production issues in applications
• Documenting changes made

Requirements

• Windows
• Linux
• At least 2 years of experience as a Guidewire Developer
• Practical knowledge of the Guidewire environment and technologies: Oracle, Tomcat, ELK, Jenkins
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum), familiarity with Jira (Atlassian)
• Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps, and containerization in Linux and Windows environments
• Good knowledge of SQL, system integration, and configuration and monitoring of Java applications
• Familiarity with Enterprise Architect, BPMS systems, and Automated Testing
• Experience working in complex IT environments (implementation and maintenance)
• Technical or related higher education
• Ability to communicate clearly and think analytically
• Independence, initiative, and a desire for development
• Work organization:
• Working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Real impact on the product
• Working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
